According to the hijri calendar, Hz. Muhammad's birthday event started in Sarajevo

In Sarajevo, the capital of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Hz. The "Salam Ya Rasulallah" event, which is held every year on the occasion of Muhammad's birthday according to the hijri calendar, has started.

Many people attended the opening ceremony of the event, which was organized for the 19th time this year by the Sarajevo Islamic Union Assembly, in front of the historical Bascarsija Mosque in the capital.

Chief Imam of the Sarajevo Islamic Union Assembly Abdulgafar Velic, in his speech here, said that in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Hz. Stating that the month in which Muhammad was born has a special meaning, he said, "Sarajevo took on a different spirit for this month with the special love and deep respect we carry in our hearts. The streets were cleaned, meals, desserts and sherbets were prepared in the houses." said.

Sarajevo Mufti Nedzad Grabus also visited Hz. He said that with the advent of Muhammad, all humanity gained the sense of freedom.

It was noted that in the event, which will last until October 16 in cities across Bosnia and Herzegovina, 28 programs will be organized with more than 300 participants from Turkey and Bosnia and Herzegovina.
